With Internet Explorer Open:

1. Click on the Tools menu at the top of your browser, then click on Windows Update.

2. You might need to allow the Microsoft Windows Update program to be installed. To do this, click the Yes button when the security warning appears for "Windows Update V4 Control." If you do not receive this prompt, continue to the next step.

3. Click "Scan for Updates."

4. Once the scan has finished, important updates will be automatically selected. Click "Review and install updates."

5. Click "Install Now" and accept the pending License Agreement.

6. You computer will download and install the updates that were automatically selected.

7. When finished, restart your computer to complete the installation of updates.
