Steve Bremer of Jefferson City, Mo. was recently honored as Socket's You Make The Difference award winner. Each month, the Missouri-based telephone and Internet provider asks its employees to nominate co-workers for the award and then vote for a winner who best reflects Socket's Core Values and Beliefs.

Bremer, an account executive at Socket, has helped Missouri businesses with telecommunication solutions since joining Socket's team in 2005.

"It's a great feeling to be voted as employee of the month by my peers," Bremer said. "There are so many awesome employees here at Socket; it's a real honor."

Bremer graduated from Helias High School and attended Linn State Technical College. He and his wife of 15 years, Joyce, are the proud parents of two children: Levi and Mya. Both Steve and Joyce live and work in Jefferson City, but their favorite hobby is traveling.

"Steve works hard every month to promote Socket and the services we provide," said a co-worker who nominated him for the award. "He is always willing to help in any way he can."
